On Friday evening, Changezi, my beloved dog, accidentally wandered outside while playing with my other dogs. The situation was especially stressful as we live near a busy commercial area with a lot of traffic and other dogs around. When we adopted Bucky from the shelter, we weren’t sure whether he would adjust to a normal household or be able to let go of his childhood trauma, having spent his formative years in the cacophony of 1000 other dogs.
